The DVR is IP-capable for connection to your home or business network and the Internet. Monitor and control select functions of the cameras and DVR via the Internet with a PC or smartphone. You can receive notifications by e-mail with images, text messaging with an image, or standard text-only alarm notification if an event occurs while you are on the move. Video motion detection can be set to record activity to the hard drive, log the event in a list to simplify searches at a future date, and send an e-mail with an attached image of the event recorded. Selectable-grid video motion detection pinpoints what areas you want covered, and helps eliminate false alarms.
Dual-stream video processing sends the highest possible video quality to the hard drive while adjusting the image compression to optimize the DVR's internet transmission speed. The included Central Monitoring Station (CMS) Software gives you the ability to monitor up to 64 cameras from multiple DVR’s on one computer screen.
