Super Accurate Digital Clock
The most accurate clock - synchronizes to the
thousandth of a second!
We call it an "atomic" wall clock. Just select your time zone and each day, this clock automatically synchronizes itself to the precise, correct second! You can display this clock both on the wall or free standing. It tells the correct time of course, but that is just the beginning.
Displays the temperature - both indoors and out. It shows phases of the moon and features a perpetual calendar. The clock comes with a built in alarm and snooze feature. Displays time in 12 or 24 hours format. It will also adjusts automatically for daylight savings time!
How it works (or, more information than you'll ever need): This clock uses a silent radio receiver, permanently tuned to the United States Government's radio station WWVB located near Ft. Collins, Colorado. The station transmits ultra-accurate time information data on the low frequency band at 60kHz. WWVB is operated by the US government and gets its time information from The National Institutes of Science and Technology (NIST). NIST time is the most accurate and is "official" time for The United States of America. NOTE: The powerful 50,000 watt WWVB radio signal covers all of North America, but not Alaska or Hawaii.
