There are two ways to use spice rubs. You can sprinkle it on right before grilling so that it acts like a seasoning salt. You can also apply it several hours ahead of time (even the night before) so it will not just flavor the meat, but cure it as well, which adds a much more complex flavor. Either way you choose, this amazingly flavorful spice rub will enhance your barbecue experience!
