Open PhotoImpression 6 (software included with the scanner), and click Get Photos>>Acquire from Scanner
In the Acquire from Scanner dialog box, select OVT Scanner in the Select the device pull-down, define your Save settings (choose JPG to save space, select TIF for highest quality). In Scan options, choose the appropriate film type, color depth (24 should be fine) and Dpi (choose 3600 if you want to print a large image). Click Acquire.
Click the Snap Shot icon in the OVT window.
Click the Format icon, and select 2592x1680 in the Twain Format resolution window. Click the Transfer icon, and then click the Exit icon to return to PhotoImpression 6.
To edit the image, click the Edit button, and select Photo Editing Tools.
In Photo Editing Tools, apply your enhancements and when done, click Save as, and re-name your newly modified image. You will now have a high-resolution image suitable for printing at least 11 inch x 14 inch.
